General Resolution IGJ No. 7/2015, published today in the Official Gazette, will govern the agency's regulations, aligning them with the nation's new Civil and Commercial Code. It will enter into force on November 2, with the exception of provisions regarding the registration of trust agreements, special rules for single-member corporations, the remediation procedure, and regulations concerning civil associations and foundations, which will take effect on August 3.
General Resolution No. 7/2015 replaces General Resolution No. 7/2005, which governed the regulations of the General Inspection of Justice (IGJ) for nearly ten years. The reform aims not only to align the regulations with the new Code but also to incorporate amendments made over the years and to modernize the regulatory framework.
